The official cabinet will hold its regular weekly government meeting, the press center of the Council of Ministers announced, BTA reported.< /p>
On the agenda of the meeting, the government is expected to discuss changes in four tax laws – The Law on Personal Income Taxes, the Law on Corporate Income Taxation, the Law on Value Added Tax, the Law on Excise Duty and Tax Warehouses. With its decision, the cabinet is about to entrust the National Revenue Agency with the sale of property seized for the benefit of the state.
Discussion and approval of additional spending under the 2024 budgets of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Transport and Communications is also part of the agenda. The Cabinet will also consider changes to the Road Traffic Act. The meeting starts at 11:00 a.m.
Before the government meeting, Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev will participate in an award ceremony for civil activists for children's rights on the occasion of 35 years since the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Granite Hall in the Council of Ministers. It will also be attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Ivanov and the Minister of Education and Science Prof. Galin Tsokov.
