The attempts of the people's representatives to elect a speaker of the parliament continue today, NOVA reported.
This is the fourth time this has happened. With the previous three, there were 5 nominations and for now it is clear that on Wednesday there will be at least one less. A day ago, the PP-DB took a step back, withdrew their own nomination, declaring their readiness to support doyenne Silvi Kirilov from “There is such a people” as “technical chairman” and called on the other formations to do the same.
Until now from GERB-SDS and from “Vazrazhdane” refuse to withdraw their nominations - Raya Nazaryan and Petar Petrov. Dogan's Alliance for Rights and Freedoms has given a request for support to Silvi Kirilov, but at this stage the other parties have not given one.
