"Revival starts talks in the parliament

Invitations have been sent to all other formations in the 51st National Assembly.

The proposal of “Revival" is that the meetings will take place today in hall 248 of the National Assembly, as follows: with “BSP-United Left“ – at 14:00, with “There is such a people” (ITN) – at 15:00, with “We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria” (PP-DB) - at 16:00, and with “Morality, unity, honor“ (SWORD) – at 5:00 p.m.

On the part of “Revival" the chairman of the party Kostadin Kostadinov, the vice-chairmen Tsoncho Ganev and Petar Petrov, and the people's representatives Iskra Mihailova and Svetoslav Todorov will take part in the meetings.

The party points out that at the moment "Vazrazhdane", PP-DB, "BSP-United Left", ITN and MECH constitute a majority of the 122 deputies in the National Assembly. If all the parties that have declared their intention to fight the “corrupt, dirty-oligarchic model of governance of GERB and DPS“ stand behind their words with deeds, there is no obstacle to creating a regular cabinet without these parties of the status quo, note from “ Revival“.

Until now, MECH said that they will go to the meeting with Kostadin Kostadinov's party. From “We continue the change" announced that they will not enter into any negotiations with “Revival” for managing the country.

Last week GERB-SDS and PP-DB talked separately with political forces in the National Assembly, but a meeting between the former and the latter in the parliament has not yet taken place.

PP-DB held talks with MECH, “Alliance for Rights and Freedoms", “There is such a people" and “BSP-United Left“ in search of support for their proposed declaration of a “sanitary cordon“ around Delyan Peevski and “DPS-New Beginning”, and the legislative priorities laid down in it.

In parallel, GERB-SDS met with “BSP-United Left” and “There is such a people”. The first political force announced the talks as seeking consent for joint legislative actions in the parliament.
