There is no split in PP-DB. What is common in our position are the priorities that we believe this NA should have when it starts to act. For such priorities and possible management, we cannot hold talks with 2 parties - DPS-NN and "Vazrazhdane", declared on the air of BNR the deputy from PP-DB Andrey Tsekov and candidate of the second political force for the presidency of the 51st NA.
"Voting does not mean that we with "Revival" we have something in common, like an understanding of values and management,", Tsekov said and gave as an example the votes for the chairman in the last 6 parliaments – the election of Iva Miteva and Vezhdi Rashidov.
According to him, the first political force GERB-SDS has wasted 3 weeks in its responsibility to form a majority for the election of the president.
"Nazaryan was voted for only by her group. The position of DPS-NN not to support any candidate speaks of synchronization in actions with GERB. With this impasse and impotence of GERB, the possible compromise should be sought. Today it can obviously be like the 48th National Assembly - the choice of the oldest. Tsekov recalled that PP-DB held meetings with 4 parliamentary groups, but as they stated before, "without "Revival" and DPS-NN".
"Peevski does not allow Borisov to have a leadership meeting because he does not want to cede the monopoly he has established over the entire institutional framework of the state. In my opinion, the concerns are that a meeting between the forces could lead to a loss for him", predicts Andrey Tsekov.
And added:
"DPS-NN and their combination with GERB are a threat to Bulgarian democracy. This is the big problem facing the state. For the other political forces, the choice remains whether they will preserve the model or there will be a consensus for the return of statehood. To date, it is impossible to manage the construction with GERB."
