At night, rain will fall in many places in the western regions and in the Danube plain, BNT reported.
On the high fields of Western Bulgaria and in the Pre-Balkans, the rain will quickly turn to snow. Minimum temperatures will be between 1° and 6°, in the valleys of Western Bulgaria - up to minus 2°, along the Black Sea - up to about 14°.
Maximums will be between 4° and 9° in Western Bulgaria and the Danube plain and from 10° up to 18° in the southeastern and extreme southern regions, in the Upper Thracian lowland and along the Black Sea.
In the morning, the precipitation in the west will stop, but will move to the eastern half of the country. It will thunder in the southeastern regions and along the Black Sea. By the end of the day, the rain will stop there as well.
After the passage of the front, the wind will be oriented from the west and will be moderate, in the Danube plain, in the Upper Thracian lowland and in the eastern areas – and strong. A warning remains in force throughout the country, now only of the first degree - code yellow.
The weather along the Black Sea will be cloudy with rain and thunder. A strong wind will blow, but from the west-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 12° and 18°. The excitement of the sea will increase to 3 - 4 bales.
The cloud cover in the mountains will be significant. Until noon, snowfall is expected mainly in Stara Planina and in the massifs in Western Bulgaria, and around and after noon, it will rain in the Eastern Rhodopes. A strong and stormy wind will blow from the west-northwest.
With the wind shifting from the southwest again on Friday, temperatures will briefly rise, combined with mostly sunny weather. But already on the night of Saturday, a new cold atmospheric front is approaching. Rainfall will begin in the Pre-Balkans and will quickly change to snow on the high fields. On Saturday, the rain will gradually stop, but it will remain very windy, and temperatures will drop sharply again. On Sunday and during the first days of next week it will be mostly sunny, the wind will weaken, the temperatures will rise.
