I understand that Borisov and Peevski are rubbing their hands together and waiting impatiently for the PP-DB coalition to fall apart. In our coalition, we have clearly said - no matter how many difficulties and differences we have had while looking towards the modernization of Bulgaria, the Eurozone and Schengen - we will be together. This is a display of a good coalition culture, despite our differences. Nadezhda Yordanova from “Democratic Bulgaria” said this in an interview for BNT, quoted by novini.bg.
“There are specific features in our coalition, we are different political formations with different identities on certain issues”, she explained.
According to her, Borisov's passivity is an interesting phenomenon. “Why does he give the impression that he is giving up the first term? What is his plan? No, she replied.
“By his inaction, Borissov is forcing the Bulgarian parliament to form an alternative majority and clear the way for him to lead Bulgaria to elections. How do you expect to get support without talking? There is no political logic in this,”, the MP from PP-DB also commented.
“We are far from forming a government. I hope that the parliamentary forces will show reason," Nadezhda Yordanova also said.
“Borisov was never in an official coalition with Peevski, however - they ruled together quite comfortably. On the Whistleblower Law: exactly what kind of expert legal conversation should we have when there is a bill agreed with the European commission (EC)? According to the Law on Insolvency of Individuals, we had reached the clearing of the texts as early as January of this year. There were problems, we cleared them at an expert level. After that, there was a need for a political, leadership decision - we have reached that point”, explained the People's Representative.
