Due to the construction of the metro, the Metropolitan Municipality is introducing a temporary organization of traffic and closing two tram lines until the end of the construction works. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
From 28.11.2024 until 05.12.2024 /including/ trams on line No. 21 will operate on weekdays, pre-holidays and public holidays, and tram lines No. 20 and 23 are closed.
In the meantime, a temporary bus line No. 20TM is being opened, which will run along the route: from stop 0605 "Zh.k. Druzhba 1", left on st. "Amsterdam", on st. "Dimitar Peshev", st. "Iskarsko shose", blvd. "Asen Yordanov", blvd. "Shipchen Pass" and to the right on st. "Ivan Dimitrov - The Doll" to "Geo Milev" bus station; - two-way.
SO specifies that the buses will stop at all existing trolleybus and bus stops along the route.
Temporary stops are revealed for the temporary bus line:
- with code 6116 "Junk for the airport" on Blvd. "Asen Yordanov" 50.00 meters after Blvd. "Christopher Columbus" in the direction of the "Geo Milev" bus station;
- with code 6731 "SK CSKA" on Blvd. "Asen Yordanov" 100.00 meters before the intersection with Blvd. "Shipchen Pass" in the direction of "Geo Milev" bus station.
