Clouds today will be significant, reported BNT.
Even before noon, rain will begin, first in Western Bulgaria, but with a strong wind from the northwest, colder air will invade and by the end of the day, the rain will start to change to snow in the high fields.
The southeastern half of the country will remain warm for the season tomorrow as well, with maximum temperatures of 10° to 13-14°, but in the north-western regions they will decrease.
It will also be cloudy along the Black Sea, but significant precipitation is not expected. The wind will be moderate, after noon it will be oriented from the west-northwest.
The conditions for tourism in the mountains will be bad - a moderate north-westerly will blow, along the ridge – strong, still southwesterly wind. It will be cloudy, foggy, with precipitation, as the line between rain and snow will be at about 1600 meters, but with the cooling it will quickly descend and by the evening and in the lower mountain parts the rain will turn to snow.
During the weekend, it will rain in almost the entire country, the weakest in Eastern Bulgaria, and more intensively in the southwestern regions. Expectations are that, apart from the mountains, snow will also fall on the high fields and a snow cover will form there. It will also be windy and the situation will be complicated again on the mountain passes.
On Monday, the wind will weaken, and the cold has continued. Precipitation from rain and snow will occur in more places in Central-Southern and South-Eastern Bulgaria. On Tuesday, the rain will stop everywhere.
