The MECH party gave statements to journalists after the consultations with President Rumen Radev. Radostin Vassilev stated that they will not hold talks with GERB, BNT reports.
"The plan "SWORD" it cannot work because a critical mass of MPs cannot be found to oppose Borisov and Peevski.
He added that they also talked with President Rumen Radev about the destruction of statehood, because, according to him, this is happening in Bulgaria. He was adamant that if he supported Borisov or Peevski, he would cause great distrust in his voters.
The leader of MECH expressed doubt that PP-DB will oppose Borisov and Peevski. He stated that the opinions with the president about the situation at the moment match and he believes that this parliament cannot broadcast a working government.
"I don't want an election at any cost, but I think it is a more logical end to such a fragmented parliament, where the tangent between the parties is undetectable.
According to Radostin Vassilev, if an unprincipled government is formed now, it would give more time for "greater digging behind the scenes".
PP and DB, said Vassilev, "I don't see them being very against GERB, especially DB".
"And such cordons that they put up. We have drawn up this cordon, but the cordon is probably about "We continue the change" right now".
