A 9-year-old child died in an accident in the Pleven region, the police announced. The incident occurred on Wednesday at around 9 a.m. on a municipal road between the villages of Bahovitsa and Nikolaevo.
A car driven by a 24-year-old man left the roadway and hit a metal guardrail on a bridge.
A 9-year-old child was riding in the front right seat, who died.
The driver of the car was tested for alcohol, narcotics and intoxicants with technical means, the tests were negative.
