The tenth of a total of 15 32,000-ton bulk carriers ordered by „BMF Shipping“ AD is already on the water. The company announced that its flag was raised at the Chinese shipyard Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding on January 9.

The godmother of the ship, Reni Decheva, gave it the name „Kamenitsa“ (KAMENITZA), making it the third in the company's history with this name. Decheva is a former head of the „Human Resources Management“ department in „BMF Shipping“.
The first captain of the newly built ship was K.D.P. Marian Yotov, and its first chief engineer was Eng. Dimitar Dimitrov.
On October 3, 1980, at the Varna shipyard „G. Dimitrov“ the flag of the newly built 24,150-ton bulk carrier „Kamenitza” (KAMENITZA - IMO 8006256), the tenth in the „Balkan“ series, was raised. At that time, it was equipped according to the requirements of the USA and Canada for sailing in the Great Lakes of North America. The first captain was K.D.P. Ivan Delchev, and the vessel served in the fleet of „BMF Shipping“ until July 14, 2012, when it arrived in Alang (India), where it was sold for cutting for scrap.
On October 23, 2015, the flag of the second bulk carrier of “Parakhodstvo BMF“ was raised with the name “Kamenitsa“ with a deadweight of 32,600 tons. It was built in 2010 in Liaoning Hohgguang Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, Panjin, China. The ship changed its name to “Kamenitsa“ under the command of k.d.p. Strahil Ivanov and chief engineer – Eng. Todor Dimov. On July 29, 2020, it was sold to another shipowner.
