The "There is such a people" party is convening a National Conference. This is the supreme body of the party to replace its chairman Slavi Trifonov.
The conference will be held on January 18 at the "Rainbow" hall in Sofia.
The agenda includes the election of a chairman, the adoption of a new statute, the election of the party's Executive Council and the election of the Arbitration and Control Commission, as is clear from the invitation published on the party's website.
The announcement also makes it clear that the National Conference is being convened at the initiative of the National Council of the party.
Currently, the chairman of "There is such a people" is Slavi Trifonov himself.
The Deputy Chairmen are Toshko Yordanov and Ivaylo Valchev.
The Executive Committee includes - Toshko Yordanov, Ivaylo Valchev, Stanislav Balabanov - Secretary, Dragomir Petrov, Alexander Valchev, Filip Stanev.
The Arbitration and Control Committee includes Alexander Rashev, Momchil Ivanov, Snezhanka Trayanska, Ivan Kyuchukov, Victoria Maleva, Iliana Marinova.
According to the Statute of the party "There is such a people" a National Conference is convened at least once every 4 years. The term of office of the party chairman is the same.
Delegates who are members of the Executive Council, members of the Control Commission, regional coordinators, members of the people's representatives, mayors of municipalities, mayors of regions, chairmen of municipal councils, as well as members of the European Parliament from "There is such a people" have been invited to participate in the work of the National Conference.
We recall that the current chairman of the ITN, Slavi Trifonov, has not yet commented on the party's participation in the new regular cabinet, proposed by the candidate for Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov to President Radev this morning.
The ITN received 4 ministers in it - Grozdan Karadjov - Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Transport and Communications, Petar Dilov - Minister of Economy and Industry (the financial expert of the ITN and a personal nomination of Slavi Trifonov), Silvi Kirilov - of Health and Marian Bachev - of Culture.
