Kaloyan Metodiev: The President is a silent accomplice to everything that happened - 1

"Today, the protest energy has been wasted. We have returned to the starting point. All those who were on the square as political subjects betrayed the protesters, betrayed the voters".
This was stated on the air of the Bulgarian National Radio by Kaloyan Metodiev, a political scientist, former MP and former head of the cabinet of President Rumen Radev.

"They obeyed the "GERB" model. They became an integral part of it. I am referring to both the PP-DB and the BSP without Kornelia Ninova. Slavi Trifonov turned out to be an arch-liar regarding the political demands he made. Even the president, who participated in the formation of the current government, changed his principles. They staged a coup for Kornelia Ninova so that no one would interfere with this ugly phenomenon that we are currently observing – the assembly of a coalition born from fake elections".
He explained why he is also making accusations against the PP-DB, which is not part of the regular government.

"They were in a coalition and changed the Constitution with Boyko Borisov and Peevski in the so-called "assembly" – "Borisov" 4. Now we have "Borisov" 5. Let's not forget that the DB also participated in the two-month negotiations. They were kicked off the negotiating table by Borisov. The very fact that they sat down to negotiate with him means that they recognize his model, his leadership and the opportunity to govern with him again".
The PP also lied to its voters, he commented, after correspondence was revealed that Delyan Peevski claims to have exchanged with Kiril Petkov and academician Nikolay Denkov.
The president is a silent accomplice in everything that happened, Metodiev said.

The political scientist does not foresee a better future for either of the two DRFs.

"This is a fratricidal war between two roots of the same system".

Both parts of the Movement participate in the government, he believes.
