The budget is the number one priority for the new cabinet. PP-DB is lying, there is no real money". "The PP-DB party does not approach the idea of changing the Supreme Judicial Council, but focuses on what they do not like. Their political hypocrisy sometimes gets to me. The party of Petkov and Vassilev proposes changes that will lead to the replacement of specific people, not the system. The Prosecutor's Office must be reformed, and not just certain individuals should be replaced. Focusing on individual names is not a good idea," he added.
According to him, the necessary majority must be formed to elect new members of the Council. "However, in order for this to happen, we need support from outside the coalition - 160 votes. Will it work? We hope so. The problems come from the expired mandate of both the Council and a number of control bodies. We are not yet having discussions on the issue", Yordanov explained.
He believes that politicians have been misled into supporting the formula for increasing salaries in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the services, but adjustments need to be made.
