The parliament elected Yordanka Fandakova from GERB-SDF as chair of the Foreign Policy Committee in place of Boyko Borisov. Toma Bykov from GERB-SDF was elected as deputy chair of the committee.
In addition to being the chair, Boyko Borisov was also dismissed as a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The deputies also adopted changes in the leadership of the Culture and Media Committee. Toma Bykov was dismissed from the leadership of the committee and Dimitar Nikolov was elected as deputy chair of the committee.
At the beginning of the session, the deputies included two new items on the agenda at the proposal of the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova, one of which was on changes in the composition of standing committees.
