The decision on the immunities of the MRF-DPS deputies Jeyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov is political.

This was stated by the GERB MP Denitsa Sacheva in the studio of "Nova TV".

She explained that GERB voted against lifting the immunities of the two MRF-DPS deputies because they did not want the institutions to be used for political purposes.

When asked then why Raya Nazaryan, when she was the Speaker of the 50th National Assembly, single-handedly decided to lift Ibryamov's immunity when he was arrested in early October, Sacheva explained this decision as follows: Nazaryan is an excellent lawyer and she made a lawyer's decision, and yesterday's decision was political.

According to Denitsa Sacheva, this does not stop the investigation into a crime committed by Ibryamov and Rangelov, although as long as they have immunity, they cannot be held criminally liable and in reality legally they cannot be investigated.

Regarding the words of the leader of the DPS-NN Delyan Peevski that Jeyhan Ibryamov was constantly in the office of Boyko Borisov, Sacheva denied, she had not seen Ibryamov in the office of her leader.

Politics is not related to the topics of good and evil, as understood in society, and the government was formed for the good of Bulgaria, the GERB MP further argued and added: immunities are not so that politicians can freely commit crimes, but so that they can do their job impartially.

Discussions on the distribution of posts between GERB and the DPS-DPS have not been held, she said more Denitsa Sacheva. Talks about the appointments are pending, she specified.

Regarding the eurozone, she said that the date of January 1, 2026, was discussed during the negotiations to form a regular government and GERB has stated very clearly that these are the party's intentions.

She pointed out that the figures presented by Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova regarding the country's finances are real in both the revenue and expenditure aspects. The convergence report on our admission to the eurozone will be requested in any case after February 18, when Petkova is expected to present the new budget for 2025, which Sacheva also mentioned and pointed out that Assen Vassilev is a bad financier.

Asked why pensions and salaries have not been increased significantly under GERB, she answered with a question: Have you heard of a family getting rich by taking out loans?, the question again being related to the poorly conducted financial policy by former Finance Minister Assen Vassilev.

The promised high salaries in the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defense cannot be revised, according to Denitsa Sacheva.
