Hello, friends! Since I am infinitely outraged and shocked by the situation I found myself in, I want the truth to come out and these false media articles to stop. I am revealing and telling the whole truth to you, as it is! Let's stop this lawlessness and this unceremonious attitude on the part of the authorities towards ordinary citizens! I decided to stand up for my civil rights and unfortunately I was attacked because I asked an uncomfortable question.

This was written on "Facebook" by Nikoleta Vladimirova. Just a day ago, the Sofia Regional Directorate of Internal Affairs announced that she was detained for 24 hours because she attacked a police officer.

Today, Nikoleta Vladimirova posted her version of the incident on the social network:

On 01/25/2025, at around 4:30 p.m. in the town of Godech, on Sofiysko Shose Street, in the direction of Sofia, my mother, my grandfather and I were stopped by law enforcement officers who found that our car headlights were not on. As a result, the police officer got into the patrol car to prepare the necessary document for us.

While we were waiting, the other colleague – Mr. Palankasov stopped another car across the street, which was clearly without its lights on, and since the car was within a visible distance from us, it was clear that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, as was a woman in the back seat holding a small child in her lap, who was also not secured.

Since I am interested in the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, I know that stopping two cars at the same time is not right until the inspection of the first car has been completed. While the two cars were stopped at the same time, parallel to each other, a traffic jam and dissatisfaction with the citizens who had to wait for each other to cross the traffic lane formed.

The wait for our ticket to be drawn up continued for several more minutes, during which we witnessed a seemingly well-intentioned and friendly attitude on the part of Mr. Palankasov towards the stopped car with no signs of a ticket being written to them, as they seemingly knew each other from the conversation we overheard.

Mr. Ivanov came to our car to hand us the ticket he had drawn up. I – Nikoleta Vladimirova, I politely asked him if his colleague would issue the citizen a document, like the one they issued to us, since we heard Mr. Palankasov saying goodbye and sending the passengers away, Mr. Ivanov bluntly replied that he was not interested and that if I wanted to go and ask him personally. I got out of the car and asked my already departing car and Mr. Palankasov to wait so that I could ask them my question. I greeted them and asked politely as a citizen, in front of whom a scene of violation had clearly unfolded, both on the part of the police officer, since he had not carried out his check correctly, and on the part of the citizens, who had approached irresponsibly both the surrounding traffic drivers and the small child, whom they had not secured properly.

Mr. Palankasov turned to me and said: "Little girl, get in your car and don't interfere in my business!" I, disappointed by his answer, asked him how I was different from other citizens and why he selectively judged who to punish. Mr. Palankasov smiled sarcastically and answered me: "According to the law of risk, I judge who to write a report to and who not! Apparently you are unlucky today and it fell on you!"

I asked him in surprise what this law meant and whether this was some new law introduced in the police. Mr. Palankasov looked at me angrily and started shouting at me to get away and not to ask him any more questions, while he pushed me along the roadway while cars passed by. My mother came to help, but he started pushing her too and showing violent aggression towards us. I was scared and started shouting for help because I felt fear and panic from this inadequate attitude of the police officers. My mother kindly asked Mr. Palankasov to stop pushing her in the chest, as she was sick with ‘‘breast cancer‘‘ and until a few hours ago she had been undergoing chemotherapy. Mr. Palankasov mockingly replied that he did not care at all. My elderly grandfather, who is 74 years old. he was scared and asked them to stop pushing us because we were going to the cemetery and we didn't want any problems with anyone.

Mr. Palankasov angrily turned to him and said: "You can get to the cemetery very quickly!"‘‘.

While I was trying to protect my mother from Mr. Palankasov, who was aggressively pushing and pulling her, he hit me in the ear, which turned off my hearing and I can't hear anything with him. They also attacked my grandfather, who was trying to calm their vague anger towards us, at which point they threw his glasses at him. After that, they made us go to the police station, where they handcuffed us and treated us mockingly and inhumanly. We are disappointed and shocked by what happened.

How can a law enforcement agency attack an elderly person, a sick woman and a young girl? I think this is unacceptable and any sane person would be shocked by the terrible incident that my family and I suffered. Our injuries are not only physical, but also mental, which affected the normal daily life we led. I am worried about the shock we experienced and I am afraid that this will affect my mother and her treatment!

P.S. You can see for yourself the car I'm standing next to, whether the driver is wearing his seatbelt and whether the child on the woman's lap is in a child seat and secured, as claimed!

Unfortunately, when you seek your rights, you become uncomfortable! Thus ends the publication of Nicoleta Vladimirova.
