This was stated on Darik by the expert from the “Center for the Study of Democracy” Tsvetomir Nikolov on the subject of the sale of “Lukoil Neftochim“.
The main role of the state is to intervene and control who will be the new owner of the company, so that the process is transparent and does not lead to “more of the same“, added Nikolov.
According to him, the nationalization of the company is a last resort and there are several risks in this scenario, the main ones being the lack of funds for the purchase and the lack of know-how for the operational work afterwards.
