Burgas Zoo hosts ecological egg dyeing again - 1

On Holy Saturday, the Burgas Zoo will observe the tradition of dyeing eggs for Easter. Some of them are from exotic wild or domesticated birds.

Some of the residents can and will receive some of the Easter eggs that are currently being dyed, BNT reports.

"This year we have made a very good and successful combination of natural and artificial dyes, such as parsley and mint. We have also added modern dyes that have brocade. We also have pepper and onion, and we also have turmeric, which is orange in color. There are other dyes, such as violets, blue cabbage, etc.," says Krastyo Dabov, manager of the Burgas Zoo.

The zoo has already dyed the large ostrich egg, and the smallest is from California quail. There are also eggs from a wild duck, from a bantam hen, and the healthiest is the guinea fowl egg.

Later today, real purple rabbits are expected to arrive at the zoo especially for Easter, and they will be the newest residents and the most interesting attraction for the holidays.
