Georgi Harizanov: The goal of this government is to have no elections - 1

Talking in this way when a quarter of the territory of a country is occupied cannot be in the right direction. The fact that there was a phone conversation between Trump and Putin does not mean that Europe must invent a new legal order, said political analyst Georgi Harizanov in the program "From the Day" on BNT in connection with the words of President Rumen Radev in Munich, where he participated in the 61st Munich Security Conference, that "realism is beginning to replace naivety and ignorance regarding the situation in Ukraine".

The policy of the state should remain true to European values, but what about the Atlantic – This depends on the decisions of the ruling majority, but at the moment it is firmly engaged in changing the regulators, said journalist Emilia Milcheva.

The humiliating position that 500 million people in the European Union are very worried that 300 million in the US will not protect them is equally worrying for both European and American taxpayers, added Georgi Harizanov.

The two also commented on the domestic political situation in our country.

It doesn't matter what the hole in the budget is, the question is what lies behind it. It is becoming increasingly clear that what will happen with this budget will be the satisfaction of all demands for wage increases, without any reforms, Milcheva pointed out.

The goal of this government is to have no elections. There is no talk about policies, there is no strategic talk about development, stressed Harizanov.

If I were a politician, I would hold a conversation about exempting the IT sector from taxes, show how much investment I would attract and say what Bulgaria will look like in 5-10 years if we pursue proactive policies. At the moment, we do not know what Bulgaria will look like in 5-10 years, added the political analyst.

Nobody presents any vision, no one looks beyond the next term, noted Emilia Milcheva.

Georgi Harizanov also said that he expects political deals and understanding between the individual parliamentary groups when changing regulators, as well as that the candidates will not be subjected to thorough scrutiny.
