In connection with the complicated winter situation and snowfalls in the country, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov ordered the regional governors to be in full and constant coordination with all local institutions. The Prime Minister also demanded a 24-hour monitoring regime of the road situation, as well as strict compliance with the commitments to clean and maintain the roads. The goal is to guarantee the timely response of the state and to ensure traffic on the roads in winter conditions.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov ordered the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov to conduct active inspections for compliance with the Road Traffic Act. Particular attention is paid to heavy goods vehicles with worn tires, which hinder traffic and create real conditions for traffic accidents. The checks of the “Traffic Police“ are carried out throughout the country.
