Our strategic goal - the eurozone, requires these extremely complex maneuvers in the budget, said GERB leader Boyko Borisov on the sidelines of parliament.
In his words, there will be a political solution for the eurozone.
"If someone wants to hinder us on the path to the eurozone, like PP and DB, let them say so, because for 4 years they hindered the state and did everything possible to keep us from being in the eurozone, these are the facts. Entering the eurozone makes Bulgaria one of the white countries and this is our strategic goal," Boyko Borisov added.
The GERB leader said that the budget contains two proposals related to pensioners.
"One is for nearly a million pensioners with small pensions to increase with the Swiss rule. The others with pension growth greater than inflation," he explained.
In his words, if inflation is lower, the increase in pensions will be greater.
According to him, currently "the pension model is broken."
"From the insurance, from what is collected in the pension funds, you cannot receive even a 20 leva pension, it all comes from taxes - over 20 billion, and yet we have included pension growth again," Boyko Borisov also said.
