Today I had a wonderful meeting with Francis Gladstone, a direct successor to William Gladstone at the Liberal Club in London. William Gladstone was Prime Minister of Great Britain 4 times and is closely connected to Bulgarian history. As leader of the opposition, he organized a rally in central London with over 10,000 participants in support of the Bulgarian cause, distributed several hundred thousand leaflets in support of Bulgaria and delivered one of the most fiery speeches in the British Parliament, strongly condemning the murder of thousands of innocent Bulgarians during the April Uprising, including the horrors associated with the Bata Massacre.
This is what he wrote on "Facebook" Kiril Petkov.
It was an honor to present an icon of the Holy New Martyrs of Batavia to Francis Gladstone, which he will donate to the William Gladstone Library. Together with Acad. Denkov, on behalf of our parliamentary group, we invited him to visit the Bulgarian Parliament.
And as for the latest attack by the "Bulgarian bashibozuk", who raised yet another absurd accusation - thank them, because this shows me that we are on the right track.
We exposed Rosen Karadimov as Peevski's man, whom they want to appoint as chairman of the CPC to "coordinate over 30 billion in public procurement"; we revealed how Bulgaria will not receive nearly 10 billion leva because the government does not want to adopt the anti-corruption laws under the Public Procurement Act; we clarified that in the new budget it is not clear where over 6 billion will go. leva (the difference between new loans and the budget deficit) – with these actions of ours we prevent the rulers from embezzling huge funds from the Bulgarian people. Their response was not long in coming: Another batch of false accusations through a seized prosecutor's office.
Both the meeting with Francis Gladstone and the repressive actions of the seized state give us confidence that we are on the right side of history, and made this a truly good day in my political career.
