The Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov will propose to the Council of Ministers that there be Easter supplements for pensioners. He said this to journalists before his participation in the forum "Quality jobs and decent wages in the focus of trade union organizations from the candidate countries for EU membership". The forum is organized by the "Podkrepa" coalition, BTA reports.
"My vision is to propose to the Council of Ministers and of course it will be decided in dialogue, but this is my vision, I believe that there should be Easter allowances", said Minister Gutsanov. According to him, the decision depends on the collection rate in the budget. Minister Gutsanov also stated that he will initiate such a dialogue between political parties and hopes for Easter allowances.
To a question related to relations with "Democracy, Rights and Freedoms"-DPS (DPS-DPS) and their impact on the coalition, Gutsanov indicated that the current focus is to ensure that not a single segment of society is affected in 2025.
