Assoc. Prof. Burudzhieva: The government can act as a minority cabinet and form floating majorities - 1

We have a specific government. Its problems have been transferred to the parties. There is no particular criticism of the cabinet and it acts. It is logical because there is no battle for the first place. A minority government is emerging. We risk that the election results will be appealed at every vote due to suspicions of empty bags. However, this will lower the election threshold. This is what political scientist Tatyana Burudzhieva commented on in the program "Denyat na Zievo" on NovaNews.
According to her, it is difficult to predict how "Velichie" will act in this parliament. "Usually, theoretically, we are more skeptical about such groups because of their lack of experience and ignorance of what the political process is. The government can act as a minority cabinet and form floating majorities. This is one of the negative effects of the Constitutional Court's decision, because the political process is being pushed into the gray area. I don't think that the Council of Ministers depends on the growing opposition. A valid hypothesis is that there will be elections. The actions of the parties competing for second place will determine the electoral support for them", the political scientist commented.

She also commented on the tragedy in a disco in the North Macedonian city of Kocani, in which dozens of young people died. "Only Bulgaria can understand the depth of the tragedy in the Republic of Macedonia. We have experienced a similar one - in the "Indigo" disco. "What we experienced then makes us much more empathetic to the tragedy in Kochani," Burudzhieva believes.
