He also commented on the demographic crisis in our country: “I deal with demography because I am worried that for decades almost no one in the country has dealt with this issue. In the media, learned demographers say that the picture is rosy, but for me it is not so. The numbers are shocking.“
“For me, there have never been any measures, and the results are catastrophic. I don't want to pick on scientists, but they are the ones who understand the matter, not the ones who ring the bell," he believes.
According to him, there should be a broad public discussion, and more: "Up to 25,000 leva per child should be foreseen, and the monthly allowances could increase fourfold. It is high time we built all kindergartens. Demographic policy should be the number 1 priority of the state."
He believes that families should have at least two, three or more children in order to stop the decline.
