If we respect ourselves as a society, we must find the strength to conduct at least a normal electoral process. Okay, elections do not guarantee that the smartest or most honest person will govern, but at least there is no one to be angry with – we elected them. And now we do not even know if we elected them. This was stated by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Sofia University, Prof. Daniel Valchev, on the air of BNT, quoted by novini.bg.

„There was a lot of criticism against the decision of the Constitutional Court. The elections in our country continue to be held in an outrageous manner. Many CECs were completely replaced days before the elections – this means that the CEC has expressly appointed some people about whom we do not know how they acted on election day. There was criticism why various empty bags were not counted. The speakers either do not imagine the situation, or have political motives for speaking in this way“, he believes.
According to him, there can be no lack of criticism of the Constitutional Court, because the criticism is political. „I also do not like having a new party in parliament – a party that has nothing to do with my views is entering. But this is the opinion of the people. The CEC has delayed the process of the final decision of the Constitutional Court, unfounded in my opinion.”

He specified that he is a big supporter of voting by machines.
