Ivaylo Mirchev: Peevski and Borisov have already formalized their cohabitation in marriage

Ivaylo Mirchev: Peevski and Borisov have already formalized their cohabitation in marriage - 1

The case in Plovdiv became a bit like a literary reading, and the Minister of the Interior got entangled, but it became clear that there is a political umbrella. This was said in "Face to Face" on bTV by the MP from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" Ivaylo Mirchev in connection with the scandal with the smuggling channel in Plovdiv, quoted by novini.bg.

We submitted a request to hear Daniel Mitov and the participants in the action itself, because we believe that the parliament should understand the whole truth. We are talking about smuggling channels that are connected to Peevski and Taki and their proxies in Plovdiv. The money from these smuggling channels was most likely used to buy votes in the elections, Mirchev added.

The action dates back to November 2024, but the deputy head of the Directorate of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, who is responsible, was removed a few days ago. This is happening after the publications of BOEC and after we raised a fuss in the National Assembly - before that everyone had lowered their voices. Our deep suspicion is that this is a smuggling channel, over which there is both a police and a political umbrella. Our goal is to see who is at the top. There are enough indications who is at the top, but it is good to prove this, pointed out the MP from "Continuing the Change - Democratic Bulgaria".
We want to unravel a case that will lead to a fundamental change in the work of the Ministry of Interior. The big problem here comes from political pressure, he added.

In connection with the case with the Bulgarian European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva, Ivaylo Mirchev noted that we should "let the European Prosecutor's Office do its job".
The big problem is why this video came out (with Pepi the Euro – ed.) It came out after Georgieva said that companies implementing the expansion of the gas storage facility in Chiren were intimidated by Delyan Peevski. If we assume that the prosecutor's office is directly subordinate to Peevski, let's see how the European prosecutor's office handled it. If we assume that there is enough data in the case, let's see whether he will be asked for immunity and will be held accountable. He is currently making efforts to prevent this from happening, Mirchev said.

We did not participate in the vote of no confidence not because we support Boyko Borisov, or the prime minister, but because at the moment it is ridiculous for a pro-Russian proxy party to submit a vote of no confidence on foreign policy. Until the convergent report is released, we will not support votes of no confidence, even if "Vazrazhdane" submits one on the government's space program, emphasized the MP from "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria".
There is no way we can be part of those who sabotage Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone. Our votes are not needed because Peevski and Borisov have already formalized their cohabitation in marriage. Our policy is not to support a government, but also not to collaborate with Russian proxies. If we support "Vazrazhdane", I will be greeted with stones by our supporters, Ivaylo Mirchev also said.
