This was stated to journalists on the sidelines of the parliament by the chairman of the party and the parliamentary group, Kostadin Kostadinov, BTA reports. He noted that they submitted the proposal for a national referendum on the topic a month ago, but so far it has not been distributed to either committees or the plenary. According to the rules of procedure of the National Assembly, every first Wednesday of the month, parliamentary groups can directly add items to the agenda, without the need for their inclusion to be voted on.
In the plenary hall, during the vote, it will once again become clear that the government is of the minority, because it is clear that the majority of the Bulgarian people are against the adoption of the common European currency, commented Kostadinov, specifying that he is not optimistic that their request will be supported.
A campaign of "fake news about the benefits of the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria, financed with 10 million leva from the state budget" has begun, it is an advertising campaign, the leader of "Vazrazhdane" also said.
