If Europe goes down the path of rearmament, it will be completely lost. This was stated to BNT by MEP Petar Volgin.
The crisis in the EU is deepening, believes Petar Volgin. In his words, the model is wrong.
„And why is this model wrong? Precisely because of this obedience. It is precisely because of this absolutely mindless execution of what they order you from the other side of the ocean", commented the European expert Peter Volgin.
According to Volgin, Europe will not win and raise its economy by strengthening the military structure.
„This will be the punctured raft that will finally bring Europe to the bottom, if it really comes to that. Because Europe does not have the capacity to carry out such a military transformation that would make it equal to the United States or even Russia, so what Europe will do if it embarks on this path of rearmament is to actually bury itself completely. Otherwise, a European revival is possible, it is achievable, only it must be sought in a completely different way. That is, Europe must return to its roots", Volgin declared.
