The suspicion of “We Continue Change-Democratic Bulgaria“ is that the Borisov-Peevski cabinet is trying to get people out of “Magnitsky“ with our money through the state budget. This was stated by PP-DB MP Venko Sabrutev on Nova TV.
It remains to be seen whether the Bulgarian taxpayers' money will not be used to buy back the freedom of politicians certified with "Magnitsky" medals for corruption. These 7 billion leva, which are being drawn down additionally as debt, are causing great concerns as to whether they will be used as repayment or a bargaining chip to remove individuals from the list “Magnitsky“, he specified.
According to him, when an information hole is left in the state - 7 billion leva are withdrawn without reason and a clear report on what they will be spent on, speculation is abound.
“Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone is one of the strongest anti-corruption things that our country can do“, emphasized Sabrutev.
“I have information that yesterday morning, before the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov came to parliament to talk to us about the Ministry of Interior, Delyan Peevski was in the ministry. Why was he there?“, asked the MP.
Venko Sabrutev announced that their parliamentary group will not participate in the vote on the second vote of no confidence against the “Zhelyazkov“ cabinet, which is on the topic of corruption.
