As an attempt to divert attention, he interpreted today's arrest of the director of the “Customs“ Agency – Plovdiv Miroslav Belyashki co-chairman of the PP-DB parliamentary group Nikolay Denkov.

„They came up with this as a symmetrical plot to cover the first case when police officers were ordered not to reveal the smuggling channel in the Plovdiv region, but they disobeyed the order and broke into the warehouse, after which an internal investigation was launched against them, instead of against their superiors“, Denkov recalled to BNT.

The former prime minister rejected rumors that the detained Belyashki was close to him and to Assen Vassilev, explaining that he was an appointee of Petya Bankova a week before her arrest.

We do not know this person, but we believe that he should be investigated, the PP-DB MP pointed out and added that „the same scandals are constantly being reproduced, without the police and the prosecutor's office do their job.“

During the interview, Nikolay Denkov revealed that the leader of the MRF-Novo Nachola Delyan Peevski has made numerous attempts to influence the Speaker of the Parliament Natalia Kiselova to change the agenda as he wants.

„However, she is still not giving in to Peevski's threats (...). "Obviously, they can't command her that easily," Denkov noted.

When asked whether the PP-DB is considering removing Kiselova from the chair, he replied that until a more suitable chair of the National Assembly is found, they will not take the risk of removing Kiselova, because this would mean that her place would be taken by Raya Nazaryan from GERB, which, according to Denkov, would be "a thorn in the flesh."

Nikolai Denkov defended the decision to initiate a vote of no confidence after June 4 and added that during these hundred days of government, the state has gone back four years.

We will not turn a blind eye to corruption. Until a month ago, Borisov and Peevski were hiding, now they have legalized the "New Beginning" coalition, Denkov said.
