The hackers who attacked the Supreme Administrative Court system demanded a ransom - 1

The hackers who attacked the system of the Supreme Administrative Court and its district branches demanded a ransom from the administrative courts in the country on Monday. This happened shortly after they attacked the Unified Information Filing System (EDIS) of the Supreme Administrative Court. A message demanding a reward appeared on all computers. This was told to Nova TV by the acting chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court, Georgi Cholakov.

He refused to comment on whether the attack came from the country or from abroad, but was categorical that there was no leakage of personal data. There is also no danger that the hackers have replaced information in the documents stored on the network. All of them are duplicated on paper, which makes data exchange impossible.

Since Monday, when it was established that between 00:00 and 4 am there was an unauthorized intrusion, experts from the State Anti-Corruption Bureau and the courts have been working to identify the perpetrators. The attack did not affect the random distribution of cases, which is on another platform, Cholakov said.
