The Plovdiv District Court changed the permanent measure of non-detention of the defendant for the violence against Deborah Georgi Georgiev from detention in custody to a cash bail of 25,000 leva.
Charges have been brought against Georgiev for making death threats and causing moderate bodily harm to Deborah Mihaylova.
The decision is subject to appeal before the Plovdiv District Court.
The lawyers of the defendant Georgi Georgiev for the violence against Deborah Mihaylova showed a printout of a chat in which she threatened their client with murder. She herself described this act as a manifestation of cynicism.
19-year-old Debora from Stara Zagora was severely injured with a mock knife on her face and body last year.
In turn, Georgiev's lawyers filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office against Mihaylova, alleging that she also physically abused their client and threatened him with murder.
