The head coach of Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) Alexander Tomas was satisfied after the minimal success of his team over the Black Sea.
"I want to congratulate the players because this victory was won by our family. We are in the process of building a new squad, today we started with six players under 23, with two more coming in as reserves. We played against a very good team, with a very good coach who has good performers and it was quite difficult for us. In view of the situations on the field, I think we deserved to win," Tomas commented after the match, quoted by BTA.
"We have a very serious game against Beroe and I don't know what to do about it. "Maybe I have to shake up the dressing room to keep these guys firmly on the ground," added the coach of Lokomotiv.
Black Sea coach Ilian Iliev expressed his disappointment after the defeat by Lokomotiv (Plovdiv). The head coach of the "sailors" was of the opinion that his team did not deserve to lose the match.
"It's hard to comment on a match you didn't deserve to lose. We did what we wanted, we created a lot of situations. When Lokomotiv scored after our mistake, it almost went home in its own penalty area and it is difficult to create clean situations there.
Lokomotiv defended very well. It's not easy to play here. However, I think we have shown that where we are in the standings is no accident. We made Lokomotiv defend, which is not often seen. At the end of the match, we changed the scheme with two pure attackers, but in those situations where we saturated the opponent's penalty area, we didn't even have a chance with crosses.
