The former captain of Levski Adrian Kraev will continue his career in the elite of Portugal, Sportal.bg learned. The midfielder, who has been a free agent since the summer after not renewing his contract with the “blues”, will continue his career at the Casa Pia club. The Lisbon side finished ninth last season in Liga Portugal, recording 10 wins, eight draws and 16 defeats.

The 25-year-old midfielder is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Portuguese in the coming days. The start of the season in Portugal is on August 10, and the “geese” host Boavišta, which is when his debut is expected to be. On August 18, Kraev can perform at the legendary "Lush" against the great Benfica in the visit of Casa Pia from the second round of the championship.

Kraev left Levski after 109 games and seven goals in all competitions, as well as one Bulgarian Cup. He is a teenager of the “blues”, having arrived at “Gerena” in 2020 from Heber (Pazardzhik) and immediately established himself among the starters.

Due to a misunderstanding with the management regarding the parameters of his new contract, he was left out of the squad from the beginning of the year, and then did not train with the first team of the capital city until his contract expired on June 30.

Kraev's last official match was on December 9, 2023, and the lack of matches took him out of Ilian Iliev's lineup for the last four matches of the Bulgarian national team. The 194 cm tall midfielder has eight games for the “Lions”.
