European football headquarters UEFA has announced Italy and Germany as hosts of the Nations League Finals, FOCUS reported. They will be held in June.
The national teams of the two countries are rivals in the quarterfinals in March, with the winner of the pair hosting the Final Four matches on their territory.
The battles for first place will take place between June 4 and 8, and they will be in a single direct elimination match. In addition to the two semi-finals, there will also be third-place matches and a grand final.
The quarter-finals will feature an alternating away fixture, with Italy hosting on March 20 in Milan and the return match on March 23 in Dortmund.
The remaining quarter-final pairings are Portugal vs. Denmark, Spain vs. Netherlands and France vs. Croatia.
If Germany beats Italy, the Nations League Finals will be held in Stuttgart and Munich.
If the Azzurri beat the Bundesliga, the Finals will be held in Turin.
The 2025 UEFA Super Cup match will be played in Udine (Italy) at the "Friuli" stadium, UEFA announced after a meeting of the Executive Committee.
The match is scheduled for August 13, 2025.
The venue is home to the Italian club Udinese.
The UEFA Super Cup traditionally pits the winner of the Champions League against the winner of the Europa League.
The first winner of the UEFA Super Cup was Ajax Amsterdam, the current winner is Real Madrid, who defeated Atalanta (2:0) in the final match for the trophy.
