The Italian giant Inter crushed Lazio with a crushing 6:0 in a match from the 16th round of Serie "A", FOCUS reported.
The match was held at the "Olimpico" stadium in Rome.
The result was opened by Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the 41st minute from a penalty. The goal upset the home team's game and only 4 minutes later Federico Dimarco made it 2:0 after an assist from Denzel Dumfries.
Four more goals were scored in the second half. Nicolo Barella scored a classic goal in the 51st minute, while Denzel Dumfis scored for the second time (53'), Carlos Augusto (77') and Marcus Thuram (90') also scored.
This is Inter's most impressive victory over Lazio in meetings between them in over 20 years.
With the success, the "nerazzurri" have collected 34 points and are 3rd in the provisional standings. Lazio are 5th with 31 points.
