The Spanish giant Real (Madrid) dethroned debutant Paris from the top of the provisional standings of the regular season in the Euroleague, outplaying the French with 96:85 points as guests, FOCUS reported.
The match, which was part of the 16th round, was played at the "Adidas Arena" hall in the French capital in front of 7,748 spectators in the stands.
The two teams exchanged two quarters, with Real Madrid being decisive in the 1st and 4th, while the hosts took the other two.
The Argentine Facundo Campazzi scored the most for the guests - 19 points, and the Croatian Mario Hezonja added 17. For the hosts, the German Maodo Lo finished with 30, and Nadir Hifi scored 22.
