Usyk defended his titles against Fury in the rematch in Riyadh - 1

Olexandr Usyk defended his IBO, WBC and WBO heavyweight titles against Tyson Fury in a rematch between the two in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, FOCUS reported.

The Ukrainian won by unanimous decision with 116:112, 116:112, 116:112.

The first rounds were very contested with a slight advantage for the Briton, but later the 37-year-old belt holder mobilized, became more aggressive and his blows began to find the opponent's head more often and more cleanly.

In the first match, which was on May 14, the Ukrainian prevailed by a split decision after 12 rounds, again in Riyadh.

Near the ring were former world heavyweight champions Vladimir Klitschko and Lennox Lewis, who stood side by side. There was also Hollywood star Jason Statham, who is proficient in karate, kung fu and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, where he has a pink belt.

Olyaksandr Usyk already has a balance of 23 wins from 23 fights. Against Fury's name, he has 34 wins, two losses and one draw.

If Fury had prevailed, there would have been a third and decisive fight. It remains to be seen what the two boxers' plans will be.

The IBF belt was also with Usyk, but the International Boxing Federation took it away from him after the first clash with Fury, and Daniel Dubois subsequently won it after knocking out Anthony Joshua.
