Milena Todorova finished seventh in the 10-kilometer pursuit of the Biathlon World Cup in the German winter resort of Oberhof, BTA reports. Todorova, who recorded the best ranking in her career with third place in the sprint two days ago, made two mistakes in the four shots and covered the course in 31:49.4 minutes. She missed on the first prone, but after the third shot she came in second behind the Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmono. In her last visit to the checkpoint, the Bulgarian made another mistake and with two penalty laps she eventually finished seventh.

The winner was Lou Jeanmono with 31:14.9 minutes and one missed target. For her, this is the fifth individual success in her career. Second came Norwegian Maren Kirkeide with a deficit of 18.1 seconds and two faults, followed by Elvira Oberg (Sweden) with one fault and 26.2 seconds behind the Frenchwoman. Oberg made a great start, having started only from 37th place.

In the overall World Cup standings after ten starts, the leader is German Franziska Preuss with 599 points, who remained 20th today. She is followed by Lou Jeanmono (France) with 483 and Elvira Oberg (Sweden) with 440. Milena Todorova climbed to 20th with 188 points, Valentina Dimitrova - 68th with 14, and Lora Hristova - 78th with 6 points.
