Bulgaria won 6:0 against Singapore and recorded its second victory in two games at the Women's Ice Hockey World Championship in Division III, Group B in Sarajevo. Maria Runevska scored a hat trick. Thus, the national team is at the top of the standings with six points and two more than Estonia, reports BTA.

Maria Runevska opened the scoring after 63 seconds of play and with a numerical deficit for the Bulgarian national team, who were sanctioned for having too many players on the ice. The penalty passed and was followed by one for Singapore, and the Bulgarians scored again through Maya Georgieva from the power play.

Runevska scored the next two goals in the middle of the second period and the beginning of the last, and Stefani Stoyanova and Lena Ivanova finished off the opponent in the closing seconds. Ivanova also finished with three points on a goal and two assists, as Bulgaria outshot their opponents 39-11.

Angelina Dimova made her first shutout of the tournament after the Bulgarians allowed two goals in a 5-2 win over Israel. The national team's next opponent is Bosnia and Herzegovina today at 20:00 Bulgarian time, and the match with Estonia is scheduled for February 18.
