Amad Diallo's season may be over

Manchester United have suffered a serious blow after one of the team's key players - Amad Diallo - suffered a serious injury that will likely keep him out of action for the rest of the season, reports gong.bg. The "Red Devils" announced that Diallo suffered an ankle injury during training ahead of the match against Tottenham Hotspur.

"We can confirm that Amad has suffered an ankle injury during training which is expected to keep him out of action for several weeks", wrote United.
According to the Island's media and journalist Fabrizio Romano, the "Red Devils" plan is for Amad Diallo to undergo surgery next week. This will effectively mean that the season is over for him and his focus will be on getting back into top form for the new campaign. As is known, defender Lisandro Martinez will also not play again this season.

The 22-year-old Diallo has established himself as one of the most consistent players in Ruben Amorim's squad this campaign, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists so far.

“I am extremely disappointed to be writing this message at such an important time in the season. Unfortunately, I will be out for a while due to injury. I will be back stronger than ever! It's time to support the boys from the sidelines. There is still a lot to play for”, Diallo wrote on his Instagram account.
