Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah is in talks to extend his contract with the English club, reports El Nacional, quoted by Topsport.
According to the source, the Egyptian had planned to leave "Anfield" and move to a Saudi Arabian club.
However, thanks to Dutch manager Arne Slott, the footballer is ready to reconsider his decision. The specialist has shown excellent results since he took charge: the team is the leader in the Premier League and finished first in the main phase of the Champions League. The 32-year-old Salah has been impressive this season, scoring 22 goals and providing 14 assists in 25 league games.
Despite the player's change of plans, clubs from Saudi Arabia are still interested in signing him. For example, Al Ittihad are ready to offer him a very lucrative contract with a salary of over 200 million euros over three years. In response, Liverpool are preparing an improved offer to extend the agreement in order to convince the player to stay.
