Brazilian star Neymar, who returned to his hometown club Santos last month, thanked the team and fans for helping him rediscover his love of football, BTA reported.
He scored in Sunday's 3-1 win over Agua Santa.
The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain striker, who is still the most expensive footballer in history with his transfer worth $232 million, left Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal after a series of injuries.
"I'm happy to be playing again. I feel like I'm improving my form. I wanted to score so much and I did. I dedicate this goal to the fans and my family," he said, quoted by DPA.
