An 18-year-old young man has been arrested in connection with the attack on the delegate of the Lokomotiv (Pd) - Septemvri (Sf) match - Kiril Lozanov. This was announced by the District Prosecutor's Office - Plovdiv, Topsport reported.
The teenager has been charged and detained for causing minor bodily harm to an official. The accused has been detained for a period of 72 hours.

"Today, February 17, 2025, the District Prosecutor's Office - Plovdiv has charged V.-A. V., aged 18, for causing minor bodily harm to another person - a man - in the city of Plovdiv on 16.02.25, in his capacity as an official - delegate of the Bulgarian Football Union for a football match between PFC "Lokomotiv-Plovdiv" and FC "Septemvri" - Sofia, which resulted in a health disorder outside the cases of Art. 128 and Art. 129 of the Criminal Code - a crime under Art. 131, para. 1, item 1, supra Art. 130, para. 1 of the Criminal Code.
The accused V.-A.V. was detained for a period of up to 72 hours by order of the supervising prosecutor. Investigations are underway in the case, and if the involvement of other persons in the act is established, appropriate actions will be taken to hold them criminally liable.
