2:1. Leeds dramatically turned Sunderland around and took the lead in the Championship again - 1

Leeds pulled off a dramatic 2:1 victory in the clash with Sunderland from the 33rd round of the Championship, reported sportal.bg.

The hosts of "Eland Road" had to make a turnaround, which came with a goal in added time, but still recorded three new points in their assets and continued their winning streak of 4 consecutive matches. Wilson Isidor brought the "Black Cats" ahead in the 32nd minute, but Pascal Strike turned things around in the hosts' favor with goals in the 78th and 95th minutes. Bulgarian Iliya Gruev was the starter for Yorkshire and remained on the field for 71 minutes before being replaced by Joe Rothwell.

The visitors were the first to open the score in the match in the 32nd minute. Wilson Isidor broke free in the penalty area and, despite being held up by a defender, managed to turn and shoot into the goal for 0:1.

Leeds then increased the pressure and the hosts claimed a penalty twice - first for a foul on Ao Tanaka in the 50th minute, and then for a handball by a defender in the 63rd minute, but in both cases the referee did not point to the white spot.

Yorkshire still managed to equalize in the 78th minute. A free kick sent Pascal Strike soaring and heading the ball into the net for 1-1.

The complete turnaround came in the 95th minute, when Strike again headed the ball into the net from close range after Rothwell's cross from the right.

With this victory, Leeds continue to lead the standings with 72 points. Sunderland are in 4th place with 62 points.
