Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane missed today's training session, but head coach Vincent Kompany believes the goalscorer will be available for the second leg of the Champions League play-off round against Celtic at the "Allianz Arena", BTA reported.
The six-time European champions won 2-1 in the first leg as guests of Celtic in Glasgow last Wednesday.
The 31-year-old England captain, who has scored 29 goals and provided 10 assists in 30 games in all competitions for the Bavarians this season, suffered a facial injury in the 0-0 Bundesliga draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
"It's nothing serious "For Harry, but we have very little time to recover. Sometimes you need an extra day, but we will see how Harry feels tomorrow morning. I guess it's nothing serious and he will play," Kompany told reporters.
Kompany expects a tough match against Celtic, who are top of the Scottish Premier League.
"Tomorrow will be an important game for us and for the whole club. We are very strong at home. I have watched a lot of Celtic games - they have done very well in the Champions League so far and can always be dangerous," said the Belgian.
"We won at Celtic Park and then we took an important point in Leverkusen. It's a good opportunity to do something good again in these six days, which have been very busy. When the results are right, you have a little extra strength and that should help us tomorrow.“
On Saturday, Bayern had to endure relentless pressure from champions and second-placed Leverkusen to get away with a draw in their clash at the top of the Bundesliga and maintain their eight-point lead at the top.
"We have never experienced anything like what happened against Leverkusen, where we had to defend so much. It was a good experience - something like this had to happen at some point... We can learn from it for the upcoming games," said attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala.
"The mood in the team is positive. We didn't have our best day in Leverkusen – and yet we didn't lose, which is a good sign for the whole team. There are many things we can do better, but the team spirit, the ability to fight, to keep a clean sheet, is something we need if we want to go far. It will not be an easy game against Celtic. We saw what happened in Glasgow. We have to prepare well, make sure we are fresh and mentally ready. We have to play at 100%, not give up and start strong straight away – and hopefully we can win”, he added.
