Botev (Vratsa) head coach Hristo Yanev has imposed fines on some of the team's players after the loss to Lokomotiv (Sofia) last Friday, Topsport reported.
As is known, his players lost 0:3 in their home game at the "Hristo Botev" stadium and seriously disappointed their fans. Due to the poor performance, the coach imposed sanctions. However, he acted selectively - only individual players were fined. This was done at his discretion, and he received support from the management for his actions.
The most serious sanctions were imposed on Tsvetomir Tsonkov and Martin Smolenski, with the latter not even understanding why.
Botev (Vratsa) started the spring season with a draw against Septemvri in "Nadezhda" and the aforementioned heavy loss to Loko (Sofia).
On Friday, the team led by Hristo Yanev will visit another struggling team in the spring, FC CSKA 1948. The match at the "Vitosha" stadium in Bistritsa is at 12:45.
