The Brentford team defeated Leicester 4:0 on their away trip in the first match of the 26th round of the English Premier League, BTA reported.
The guests decided everything in the first half, scoring three unanswered goals for the "Foxes" through Ioan Wisa, Brian Mbeumo and Christian Norgor. That wasn't all, as Fabio Carvalho scored the fourth goal for the London team a minute before the end of normal time.
The match was played in continuous rain, and Leicester suffered their tenth defeat in their last 11 Premier League matches, with serious tension already surrounding the position of manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, who missed the opportunity to lead his team out of the danger zone.
This leaves Brentford in tenth place again - in the first half of the table, while Leicester's team is in the penultimate 19th position, two points behind 17th-placed Wolverhampton.
Liverpool continues to lead the standings, with an 8-point lead over second-placed Arsenal, who are also close, and a 14-point lead over third-placed Nottingham Forest.
